Ongoing Professional Development

Sandpiper’s works like a “lab school”.  Our early childhood educators are continually involved in professional development, peer and leader observations, reviews and goal setting through instructional  feedback. Our Professional Learning Community (PLC) encourages collaboration by all, and our staff meetings are discussion based. This approach empowers the teachers and encourages accountability, and ownership of their roles.

We truly value continuity of care and know how important consistency is in a young child’s life – which is why we employee motivated, joyful teachers. All teachers participate in a mentorship and “teachers teaching teachers” program. Sandpiper’s ongoing teacher training has a direct effect on your child’s learning.
